Most players are away on holiday and are just coming back. There is no need to release any statement.

I'm sure there is stuff going on behind the scenes.

If we don't sign 15 players before July, people start to moan and panic.

With regards to Cooper, it's all been hearsay and speculation. Neither club has said a word.

Whether Cooper goes to Wendies or not, it's clear he wont be at the CG next season

Power certainly likes to play his cards particularly close to his chest as we would normally have heard little bits and pieces come out of the Club by now. That's not necessarily a bad thing though and hopefully he will rock up at the first day of pre-season training with a Variety Club Sunshine Coach full of new signings, new Manager and Cone Gatherer.

Edit: Agree that Cooper is as good as gone. The sooner it gets sorted the better.

Did I read here or somewhere else (or maybe dreamt or imagined it) that Mawson was going to Rangers? Would certainly seem to make sense for the player - going back to play for Warburton, 'massive club' and so on...

Im amazed people still want to play for Rangers.

Club is fucked to the core. Scottish Football League, yeah great level. Lets play against Morton and Arbroath week in week out. Half of those players they have at the moment, wouldnt be playing for them if they were in the Scottish Prem. They even signed Bilel Moshni ffs.

He'd be silly to go there imo.

There are pro's and cons certainly. I can see why he would go there though. It's pretty high profile (even at that level) if he does well. Bear in mind he's only played in L2 so far.

There was a time when Liverpool were well regarded because you didn't know they were even looking for a player until they appeared on the pitch for them.  Why would the club comment on potential targets? what can they say on Cooper until anything is confirmed?  Yeesh, we've reached a time where we expect clubs to respond to internet forum made-up rumours, imagine what other clubs must have to do to bat off Tans

I am genuinely struggling to understand what it is you all want to hear?

We've a fan base that has just had a massive downer Wembley, a load of players leave and a manager on the brink.

Total lockdown isn't the way to go. A bit of positive BS is needed

Also I'm sure we were talking about pre-season friendlies in May last year. Not having them set up by now is pretty poor (I don't mean the glamour ones, I mean the bread and butter ones).

Pretty sure Cooper not having fooked off is causing a log jam of news. Its a tad frustrating.

Lockdown's a bit dramatic. There's nothing to report. Cooper hasn't gone, and no new contracts start until 1st July, so no point in alerting others to our targets and getting gazumped. Like every year, it'll all come flooding in in a couple of weeks. Chill.

Fuck it, just decimate the total team even more if that happens.
