I'm amazed we only have two preseason friendlies announced a few days before preseason starts.

I was pissed off until it became apparent MC was off. So I can undertsand the silence now. Wait until thats done and dusted. Thats then the milestone for everything else to start rolling. Mind you if it carries on for a prolonged period after tomorrow, I'm getting the pitch and matches ready.

Genuine question, what do people expect the club to come out and say? I'm not fishing, but if Sheffield Wednesday are yet to make a formal approach, then the club isn't going to come out and say much is it?
With regards to signings, other than BOO, who they could have announced, they're not going to come out and say they're speaking to anyone.
Then pre season friendlies, if they club don't have any others lined up at the moment, which for all we know they may not, they can't announce any, can they?

Something will have to come out this week as it will be rather obvious next week when they are back for preseason.

Yep, the players we don't have, will be assembling with the manager we don't have, at the training ground we don't have  Smiley

And to cap it all we're already 3rd from bottom on the BBC table. Gonna be a long season.

It's a lock down.

I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed.
This.

It does appear to be a media lockdown repel all borders, this does seem to be Powers way of working. Backs to the wall we are in this together as a tight ship with nothing sneaking out of the club.

Power seems to think all media is against the club.

Very disappointing.

(This comment I make about the manager situation not the lack of signings...friendlies etc as its still early doors)

From the station at Colchester
To the cells of Warrington
From the services at Leicester
To the slums of Northampton

We travel over England
And one day Europe too

Cos we all follow the Swindon
We're the famous Town End crew.

A simple acknowledgement that Cooper is, indeed, moving on, that we have actually signed BOO and are actively looking at others.

It shouldn't be left to Sam et al to wheedle things out.

Not asking much, really

It's the close season though Audrey, your old enough to know what that means.  Think remaining players and staff are back on Monday....and possibly going to Calne, we should start to see some trialists etc joining them, and then news will reappear.

1)If compo isn't agreed  he isn't going so why comment until it's done? No other club would
2)BOO Signing is only thing not communicated
3)Actively looking at players? pretty sure that's a given isnt it? have the club ever named targets?
