All those banging on about a young keeper not right. I'll put it out there: Town should make an approach for 21yr old Southend Keeper Daniel Bentley. Imo he is already developing well and is better than Jack Butland. Could be better than Sir Wes. A solid keeper is what you want. Signing Lonergan would be ok, but would be a similar signing to David Lucas (who was a great guy btw). Trouble with a 30+ goalie you always have in the back of your mind that they're going to get injured.
Bentley for me. Heard BeeShitty are sniffing around him too (nothing formal), so wouldn't it be great to steal him from their noses.
I think he could be tempted if he looks at how Wes developed and then progressed. Worth an approach I think.

Possibly, but the Power has quoted there will be funds spent on the "right" player. I don't think it's impossible though. |

When Kasim played well we seemed to get a result, when he was off form the team looked off form.
A massive loss if he does go but every player has his price and with Power we wont be undersold.
Or maybe, when the team is on top, he plays well, when the team is under pressure he doesn't want to know ? Chicken & egg |

Devontae Romeo to sign from Marlow.
Cracking little player.
Ran his socks off in pre season friendly at Bedfont last pre season. Surprised we didn't sign him back then.
No substance, Ain't got a clue if he is on radar or anything. Would just be a nice to have.
Only concern is he was small but no-one could get near him at times he was so quick.
So that shouldn't be a problem

Kasim is the one who, with the obvious exception of the out of contract players and Luongo, I thought would be most certain to depart and I stand by this. Hopefully a seven-figure fee for him.
In terms of incomings, I believe a contract has been offered to Jak Alnwick, who is a young 'keeper. Not sure whether that is with a view to starting or back up to Belford.
