Turley is only 24 so if he signs as well I reckon another more experienced centre back might be needed.

Would be good if true, but the original "report" came from VitalSwindon, so let's not get too excited...

Why do we need an experienced CB, we had ward last season and look what happened there, he's still with us this season can't see him playing much.

Experienced, not clapped out! Ward was a good player. Took me ages to admit it but it looks like his legs have gone.

Are you really suggesting a branco and Stephens partnership.

Clarified my statement for me, thanks Batch!

Yeh why not, yes we had troy the second half of the season but he didn't play every game...

Worth keeping up with this programme Shaun Hodgetts is doing with Mark Cooper every Friday until the end of the World Cup. Good to hear from Cooper direct on the trialists, transfers and a bit about their army camp preseason trip http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p020tytz

Mark Cooper. " If I asked Rafa to mark Ronaldo" "he'd say where? Above or below the knee?"  Smiley

Interesting there has been no mention of replacing Jay / bringing in a left-back, only getting in a couple of centre-backs. I wonder if Cooper is focusing on playing three central defenders and wing-backs?

Interestingly the second link suggests we are close to bringing in Stephens.
