Couldn't grumble with Madden after last season.

I have heard that we have made an approach to Yeovil to take Paddy Madden on loan.
Hes fallen out with the little Johnson pixie and has been placed on the transfer list.
Not really proven outside of this league, could be worth a go, he scored a lot last season for Yokels.
Is he a target man?

Not really a target man even though hes fairly tall, more an all round striker.

Would be happy with Madden signing.
I know we do try and play football but without N'Guessan on the field last night we were a little bit on the short side. A couple of times Wes went long to Pritchard which was just ridiculous. Mason isn't bad in the air mind which I noticed when he came on.

Whilst wouldnt be a like for like Ranger replacement there are times we need a good old fashioned number 9 to get on the end of some crosses. Got to wonder how close we are to budget limit though esp with Rooney now being back in the ranks plus all the crocks we paying for inc Williams

Rumours that Luke Rooney to leave by mutual consent.
In other news Shrewsbury have 6 loan signings in their squad, were they one of the clubs moaning about our hundreds of loan Spurs players?

Luke Rooney is shite, and the absolute personification of di canios biggest failing as a manager. Triple figures we paid for him right? Plus wages. Watch him drift into non-league

Or go back to Gillingham which in essence is the same thing.

Di Canio's way of finding a player seemed to be take the best player on the day from our opponents and try and sign them. Certainly Rooney and Collins appeared to have been signed based on 1 good performance against us.

This was also the same scouting technique that landed Eric Sabin a contract at QPR. Seems flawless to me.

Considering the lack of bodies at the moment we may as well keep hold of him until January and then release him.
