I wonder what terrible Adver headline we'll get?
Something like Cooper slams Dunk rumour or maybe Cooper Dunk Know Anything About It

So the manager has denied all knowledge? He'll probably be in the squad come Saturday then! Other than the sexual assault charge, does anyone know anything about him? I see he's a defender, centre half? Full back? Any good?

He is a big young and fairly commanding centre back who is about 6 foot 3, broke into the Brighton first team had a run of games but got injured then fell out of favour, hasnt really been near the first team this last year but been on the bench a few times.

Didn't they say he wasn't available last week?

Which will leave us with a varied set of striking options at our disposal;
Nile Ranger - big man Nicky Ajose (on loan from Peterborough) - little man Mahamed El Gabbas - little man Miles Storey - quick man +Danny N'Guessan - not really sure?
Things looking up.
The forward additions have certainly settled well: Nile Ranger - Apps 9(+2), Goals 3 Nicky Ajose - Apps 5(+4), Goals 4 Danny N'Guessan - Apps 4(+4), Goals 4 Mahamed El Gabbas - Apps 1(+4), Goals 0 Miles Storey (on loan at Salisbury) - Apps 2(+4), Goals 0 Is that a better set of strikers than Collins, Williams, Benson and Adam Rooney from last season? Better than Austin, Paynter, Pericard and Ward from 09/10? Better than Parkin, Mooney, Fallon and Stevenson from 03/04? Tricky questions there!

Think thus far the seasons strikers have been more consistent than last seasons. Williams on his day could be better than any striker we currently have, when it's not his day he'd be worse than any striker we have currently. Collins was picked inconsistently as was Rooney. Not a patch on Austin, Paynter, Ward or Parkin, Mooney, Fallon. Can't see any of our current strikers hitting 20+

Whereas I can see both Ajose and N'Guessan getting 20 each

We should do what we can to get Ajose permanantly in January. It's great to have someone who has a striker's instinct (as his goal yesterday and the two against City show) who is a genuine threat out wide. He has pace, acceleration and decent delivery.
