Does Navarro have a beard? We could buy a stick on one if not.

Hopefully 'Arry doesn't up his bid for Kasim.

The fee was "undisclosed" but Jed said that it was about £125k according to the BBC pre season.

ONE WEEK Nathan Byrne was signing a new, two-year contract at Tottenham Hotspur, the next he was making the permanent switch to Swindon Town.

Reflecting on a fairly chaotic and unpredictable summer, the Robins’ latest full-time acquisition, who is believed to have cost Town a sizeable transfer fee, admitted that his future was a little out of his own hands as his agent and the two clubs negotiated over the terms of the switch.

From the station at Colchester
To the cells of Warrington
From the services at Leicester
To the slums of Northampton

We travel over England
And one day Europe too

Cos we all follow the Swindon
We're the famous Town End crew.

The #keepkasim hashtag is getting a fair bit of use on Twitter.

I mentioned the other day it would take time to develop an affinity with the players - I think we can safely say that he's heading in the right direction on that front. Now we just need to stick to our guns and keep him (and extend that contract).

Gareth Bale is kicking balls into the crowd for fun at Real Madrid.

Nicholas Bendtner will be doing that all season for Palace.

Interesting - a Daily Mail journalist is suggesting that there is no fee for Caddis (which would align with what McCrory said the other day) but that it is in the interests of both clubs to say that there will be a fee, so that's what they'll do. Would seem a very strange thing to do, given the modicum of credit the board is starting to develop. If it's a free, let's just call it a free. No more porkies, no more exaggeration, people are starting to allow that to rest.

I'm not saying that I've any reason to believe the Daily Mail, mind you.

@melcastle69 Suits both clubs to have their fans thinking there's a cash sale, doesn't it?

No, it doesn't suit both clubs.

Our fans won't just be appeased at being told there was money made, they'll want to see it in accounts etc and will want to see what was done with it. If it is not accounted for they'll be asking what happened to it.

A Daily Mail reporter with shoddy reporting, who'da thunk it?
