I would guess any transfer moeny in simply reduces the operating losses rather than be set aside for replacement transfers in.
As for Williams, Sam's reference to agents may well be Williams' agent, or agents on behalf of the club, stoking the fire. That said, Yeovil's soundbites don't say that they are not interested, only that they haven't made contact or bid. Maybe they are interested.

A summing up from what I've read over the past few days on it.
Jed was telling people in a pub in Shrewsbury we have signed a player for 450k but can't be announced till this week, guessing based on players leaving.
Murrall said 450k was slightly over the top but agreed something had been done.
People thought it was Jervis, then maybe Danny Hollands.
Latest rumour seems to be we've sorted a deal for Luongo to sign permanently.
That's come from Twitter and a few posts on here.

I imagine the 450k is composed of something along the lines of:......
150k* up front
+ more for 200 first team appearances
+ more for 50 league goals
+ more for 20 international (Australia?) caps
+ more for scoring in a cup final
etc etc etc
Making the true value of the deal to be...... 150k*
* Yes, The 150k is just a number I plucked out of the air.
