Needs more of a nudge for me.

Kind of a big deal in the sphere of economics.

It's a shame he didn't go to Bolton, he could have linked up with Friedman

You'd recognise him if you saw him in the street.

Spurs loan out one of their youngsters, and its not to us!!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23489439

What should have happened:

Derby: Hello. Can we borrow Adam Smith for the season?
Spurs: No.
Derby: Oh. Why not?
Spurs: Our pals at Swindon have a player called Paul Caddis. He'd be right up your street.
Derby: Nice one. Thanks for the heads up.

This relationship is flawed Smiley

I can't think Brentford (or any other league one club for that matter) could afford, or would be willing to make, an offer even close to what our valuation of him should be.

If the sale of Ritchie created an atmosphere of shock and incomprehension back in January, the sale of Wes to Brentford, on the eve of the new season, in the prevailing climate of suspicion, hostility and gloom would probably result in a full-scale riot.

Or, failing a full scale riot, a couple of thousand people would be very, very cross.

Well said but if we can't shift the big earners and we're offered a few quid, who knows. To be honest, if I was Wes and was offered a decent contract by Brentford, I'd go for it. They're a much better bet than us this season.

Maybe some venting on internet message boards.

In 30 years of watching the club, I remember two periods open hostility - the last season of McMahon's reign and Diamandis towards the very end when it become abundantly clear we were in the shit.  We've had some shits seasons and shit boards (according to fans), but usually it just ends up with low crowds.
