Bizarrely, given all the mad shit we've had to put up with down the years, and I can remember "Bronco" Layne who got banged up for match fixing....we've never been docked points for fielding an ineligible player, which given the amount of players/ loans in and out some seasons, is surprising.

Worst I can remember recently  is being fined in the JPT for fielding a 'weakened' team in the JPT. You are right, that is amazing.

Think Marie dealt with the player registrations etc and she's left so I hope whoever does it now have read up on the rules/regulations as it sounds a bit complicated.

BBC 13:31

Former Watford midfielder John Eustace signs a one-year contract with Championship side Derby County. The 33-year-old was a free agent after turning down a new deal with the Hornets in the summer and has since been training with the Rams.

So there is the experienced midfielder we've been looking for.

Another striker and we should have a decent (on paper) first 14.

Edit, and a centre back. Hall and Ward first choice with TAH as backup is too light.

I would like another eperienced centre back as well as a striker, theres lots out there for free.

Matt Taylor the ex Exeter centre back is on a free and still available would be perfect, he was on our scouts radar a couple of years ago before he signed for Charlton.

As for a striker, I would guess we have missed out on Simon Church partly due to his wage demands but I am sure there are lots out there that fit the bill as a (possible) lone striker.

Harley was a great player at Exeter, less so at Swansea and the gayers
