BBC Wilts just tweeted 2 european internationals will join town for training. Also Devine and Luongo joining up with training too.

The Portuguese kid seems most likely, from Jed's hints, to be Alexandre Henrique Goncalves Freitas, a left winger playing in the Portuguese 2nd tier. Played for Portugal age group teams up to Under 20's. No idea where our scouting network might have picked him up though.

Good news about Luongo, guessing he couldn't get that Championship club he was after.

Looks like it will be a busy week next week then!
Will be pleased if Luongo signs and by the sounds of things the lad Devine is decent.
Interested about these two europeans
Also hopefully good news on the experience in the shape of Roberts and Eustace

So people feel Luongo would be a good signing, then? I didn't get to many games last season due to my own football commitments, but when I did get a chance, I didn't really see much in Luongo in all honesty. Clearly I know shit all, and perhaps just saw him on a bad day a couple times, as people obviously rate him! Same went for Byrne... I didn't rate him at all. Again, I probably no shit all, so will pipe down Nevertheless, should be an interesting few weeks. Liking the sound of Mark Roberts, if indeed we are after him.

I'd take Luongo in a heartbeat... and I'd be equally as quick to drive Byrne to any club that we might face this season. Luongo was combative, incisive, and had an eye for a pass/shot. Byrne was the most one-footed person I've ever seen (including my Tuesday 5-a-side), and he knew next to nothing about defending.

He has quality and if he wants to be here then lets give it a go. He seemed to have commitment and desire when playing, can't ask much more than that. But we have to realise he's a youngster that is learning. He's not going to suddenly be as complete or consistent as a Macca or a Ferry.

Luongo will be here on loan again not a permanent deal I would have thought. just in case people are getting their hopes up.

That's true. Seems as though he wants to be here, so I'm all for it.

I'm guessing we are trying to sort a perm deal though.Seems he is getting here before the other Spurs lads, thats the only reason i can see for that.
