When did it become ok to sign players with a track record of utter mediocrity because it's June? Do I have to wait a few more days to be concerned?
Yes, I knew we would be cutting back, but this much? We're a club with approaching 5k season ticket holders and no debt, offering a 2 year deal, supposedly, to Agombar. . It's gone full circle on here. If you point to the flaming obvious that we're being run by cowboys without two pennies, and signing rejects from League 2, you're shot down. Shall we just pretend it's all good?
I suggest you maybe wait a week or two before getting all down.I have no doubt we will still bring in some decent quality players. |

I admire your optimism, but we couldn't even keep hold of Macca. If the Eustace news is genuine then I might start getting feelings of optimism myself, but I fear it could be just a ruse to get the fans to believe the club is trying to get some quality in. I don't know the answer, but at first glance would it not have been cheaper / easier / less risky to have kept Macca than go after someone like Eustace? |

Only for a couple more days  I'm not sure at what point I'll start to feel concerned/excited. At the moment I'm decidedly uninterested in anything that's going on, not like me at all. I'm down with this! |

It's one player that may or may not make it, probably available for peanuts so worth a punt. Nobody can go praising or condemning the recruitment policy yet. If come August we have a squad of Harry Agombars then there may be some cause for concern but it is way too to get into a tiz as it's still only June for crying out loud. And I refer you to Jayo's comment. |
