Damian Reeves at Altrincham might be worth a look at as option for a striker. Proven scorer at non-league level getting on a bit now so might be tempted to come to league side quite cheaply!

Paper says he got 44 goals last season and 41 goals this season!

http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/damian-reeves-proves-good-goals-1766884

I saw him play this season as a mate of mine plays for Gloucester and he looked a very average player who scored one but missed 3 or 4 good chances.

He is 27 and will be 28 later this year I think his chance has probably passed by, also he still works and lives in Doncaster and does not want to move away from the North so wouldn't come to us anyway. (that was the reason he gave at rejecting Gillingham who offered him a short term deal)

Rejected a move to Inverness in January and quit a trial at Gillingham last summer to stay at Altrincham. Perhaps he likes being a big fish in a small pond?

Good knowledge! I didn't realise he'd gone for trial at Gills.

If he doesn't want to move then fair enough..... Good scoring record though (albeit it at non-league level)!

I would still prefer a bid for Ross Allen of Guernsey who scored 53 goals in 37 games this season before he got injured, I know I have mentioned him several times before but I think he is well worth a gamble even though hes 26 now.

Navarro had been in talks with Chesterfield by the sounds of it:

Navarro has said on Twitter he is keen to stay to show he is better than how he played last season - seems Jed & Co has other ideas

So we want to shift Navarro as well? Who on earth are we going to play in midfield?

I hope we have some decent signings lined up.

I was wondering that too! If Cox is on his way out, McCormack has gone and we're willing to let Navarro out on loan then I can only presume we're going for a one man midfield of L Thompson next season

Considering that it's pretty fucking abundantly clear that the playing budget will be cut, of course we'll listen to offers for anyone but as the Flint deal has shown the club aren't just snapping off hands.

Why is it such a surprise that we're trying to shift players in order to bring the budget down and sign new players?

Not particularly bothered if Navarro goes. I have a feeling that Thompson (L) will become our combative box-to-box disruptor, and be bloody good at it.

Navarro is a bit of a porky isn't he? Would make a half decent Lg2 midfielder. Yet another player on fucking way too much money that we probably can't get rid of.

Luongo

I thought of him and personally would be happy to have him back. I think he showed signs of class.

Need some experience/fight in there too with Luongo. In my opinion of course.
