Simon Ferry to Franchise?
Money talks. That's in regards to people saying that he won't go there!

Along the same lines, I wonder whether he is a high earner?

Please sign him up MacDonald/ Jed. A midfield built around Navarro as our remaining contracted senior midfielder next year is too depressing a possibility to entertain.

It does, but on the basis that we outbid them for both Williams & Navarro last season I can't imagine that they would be the best offer he will get. Unfortunately, I'm not sure we will be either

I wouldn't have thought he was a huge earner based on when he signed his contract but possible there's a pay rise if we trigger the year's extension I suppose. Would hope we'd try and keep him if we can regardless of what league we're in next season, all these questions will be answered post-playoffs though.

Would many people be that bothered if Ferry did go to Dongs and Lungfish stayed on a season-long loan from Spurs?

Yes. I want Ferry to stay. I think anyone who's sane wants him to stay. Likewise, I would like Loungo to return, preferably on an actual contract as our player.

Ferry is a lynchpin in this team. Say no more.

The point is 'this team' isn't going to be here next season - or at least a good proportion of them it seems

It's not as important to hold on to your better players nowadays, as there is always plenty of quality available on free transfers over the summer. Obviously you don't want to lose them for nothing if you could get a fee but the majority are easily and cheaply replaceable.
