Everything is now in place to have the embargo lifted Monday: Just Tweeted by Sam.

Was that a stipulation of the takeover or a stipulation of the embargo being lifted?

Was there a story confirming the payment of this money?

It's all here on the TEF , in plain sight.

Not intended as a dig at you Bruce, well maybe a bit, but this is common knowledge and is in now way hidden so I won't be bothering to dig around for it.

The delay was convincing Black to release the funds early, once the funds had been placed into the club, the umbongo was lifted swiftly.

oh and Flasheart, not sure what your point is. Those links say the club took a month to remove the embargo, yes, but not the latency between actually paying and lifting.

I see your point.

But is there anything to suggest the the FL cleared the embargo in only 1 day after Black paid?

The money that was initially earmarked for January if we were in the top 8 I mean, this went on the over spend for the JC and TAH tribunal outcome which took us over budget

This has a bit in it highlighting the delays on our side... JW being ousted then Patey came in then funds being 'made available', papers filed and umbongo lifted etc..

Believe it when I see it...like any ground redevelopment, once I'm sat in a new stand, I'll believe that too.

I really hope all the questions and problems are nothing more than a series of coincidences made to look worse by proximity of timing.

Hmm, we'll see I'm not convinced. What I am convinced about though, is if anyone else uses a stupid word instead of embargo, I will piss in your beer  if I ever meet you.

Why? It's perfectly legitimate to talk about the umbungo, it detracts from the terror of the situation.

I drink cider, so am safe from reprisal.
