Is Green still available from Charlton?

Pretty sure they're still available, although Green and BWP were involved in the Charlton game at the weekend. If we could get the takeover sorted tomorrow or Friday, and get the new guys in, we'd have a nice week to get them up to speed before they needed to play.

Just checked and they're both still at Charlton...fingers crossed for good news tomorrow and a few signings to follow!

Green got around 20mins and BWP got the last couple both coming on as subs, BWP was also booked for time wasting, Hope his mind was elsewhere, like the CG but that's wishful thinking.

Look in the league 1 thread fella. not sure that's the case.
Yates also stressed he had not talked to the Chairman about this, it was just his opinion.

I'll copy it here

Just in case nobody has seen this. This is their chairman talking about the Pack deal.
He seems confident it will go ahead.
I think this deal is more important than most people suggest. If it's a permanent deal at the end of the season drawn up in the contract then Pack will want assurances he's not going to only get 3 months with Dicanio.
Many managers do leave not long after signing players but it will be interesting.

Doesn't mean he WON'T be joining us, just that its going to be a bit harder for him to join us now a few possible obsticles. But then again if he doesn't join us now then thats his loss, if he chooses to stay at Numb or go to another club then that shows he didn't really want to sign for us anyway.

Are we really gonna buy him for £100k now when we can have him for  Free in the summer? Guess that will tell us a bit about the ambitions of the new board if/when they takeover.

I expect the £100k fee was to avoid the tribunal which would inevitably come about as despite being out of contract in the summer, he's still under 24.

Especially after getting stitched up by the last football league tribunal
