To be fair to Nouble, did Danny Wilson actually ever play him up front?
Wilson did like playing him as a winger for some wierd reason, that is a position he could not play in.

Shame Adam Rooney doesn't get that kind of reasoning. Pretty sure he's scored almost every time he's been played upfront.

Apart from Orient on his debut when he came on for Collins and looked awful.

Shame Adam Rooney doesn't get that kind of reasoning. Pretty sure he's scored almost every time he's been played upfront.

Mr A.Rooney has started four games for STFC (three as a forward and one as a right midfielder)

Away. Oxford 0-1 L. Right midfield.
Away. Carlisle 2-2 D. Forward - SCORED
Away. Crewe 1-2 L. Forward.
Home. Macclesfield 0-2 L. Forward.

Can't blame him for the Oxford performance, was his debut and he was being played out of position. As for Crewe and Macclesfield though, Rooney was completely anonymous and was rightly subbed in the 53rd and 46 mins respectively! Not surprised he's not starting. Convinced the only reason he's still here is to keep Caddis out of the way at Birmingham.

he also scored the 4th goal against Bournemouth back in September as a substitute. His overall record is 4(+10) with 3 goals.

For anyone unaware of Madine's goalscoring abilities...

Nick Blackman (Sheff U) on Reading's radar. Happy enough to weaken our rivals chances.

Sky report they've agreed a fee.

Sheff Utd already accepted a bid of £1.2 million from Palace for him but he turned the move down.

Quote
He is not desperate to leave the League One team as they press for promotion but other clubs have been monitoring his good form and he could find it hard to refuse an approach from a team in the Barclays Premier League now he knows the Blades are prepared to cash in.

I remember when Wilson tried to get him on loan for us. Didn't actually realise they had him and he was any good.
