With a potential three coming in and more than likely Caddis going out Wrays comment of more coming than going might not be a great deal to worry about. I'll be happier once the deadline comes and goes without us losing any of our regular starters though.

If we we're prepared to pay for Chimbonda then it must be a cert that Caddis is off.
A short term deal until the end of the season would be good for Chimbonda.

Think I'm right in saying Chimbonda likes to get forward ala Caddis and has done that at a high level so can see why Paolo would be / is interested in bringing him to Swindon. We may not be bringing in household names but you can bet your life they will be hand picked to fit the role perfectly.

Things are quiet on the transfer front despite being so close to deadline day. Stfc keeping their cards very close to their chest. Not sure if that's a good thing or not?

To be honest I'm already half bracing myself for some shit news regarding transfers later but like others have said its all part of following the Town for years. Good news followed by good news has been a rarity but maybe this time will be different......?

I see Theo Walcott doesnt want to sign a new contract at Asrenal. Maybe PDC can lure him back to the County Ground. After all STFC did beat Stoke and arsenal couldnt. Says it all.

But who would we drop for Walcott?

Is this the same Chimbonda that played for Wigan, then all but went on strike when he heard Spurs were interested ? If so, he'll fit in a treat. I can't believe we'd be in line with his wage demands.

Apparently he was utter wank at Donny last season and has had attitude issues throughout his career.
Doesn't strike me as type of player that Paolo would be interested in.

They've gone even more (sports) tabloid than normal recently. I'm waiting for their first attempt at a fake sheikh.
