I've got a feeling ooh ooh, that it will be McCormick.

Well we could do a lot worse (in a footballing sense). Just not looking forward to the Daily Mail rootling through Di Canio's facist past and attempting to link it to his hiring of McCormick and the Tehoue and Leon Clarke incidents. I'd rather our Championship-winning season not be tainted with that kind of press.

What the other fans come up with to chant at him will be interesting mind you.

Other than McCormick, are there any good keepers avaliable for long-term loan that would enjoy playing under Di Canio and provide a steady hand for Wes?

Lee Trundle has signed for preston.  Haha oh dear
Injured in his first full game, a bad tempered 2-0 defeat at Morecambe, hobbled off and left the ground on crutches with a possible reccurance of his knee injury.

I also hear all is not rosey in the PNE camp, lots and lots of players unhappy with Westley yet they are still 3rd or 4th favourites for promotion this season.

I don't think so, but he's as much loved as Evans.

The fans are well and truly divided over him and Ridsdale as well.

Lee Trundle, firstly in his signing and then his knee having problems again, is perhaps the very brown high tide mark of the problems at PNE. I see many PNE fans rating him as their 'only decent striker' on their forum...

God bless Benson.

Also, James Beattie anyone?

I am surprised nobody told him to shut up, shut up.

Where is the love, eh?

Trundle is on a pay as you play so it won't be too big a loss for PNE

Not a Swindon transfer but I saw this link in the local Hungerford Facebook pages

http://www.thetilehurstend.com/2012/7/23/3177225/championship-winner-harper-joins-hungerford

I remember Harper being chased for mega money not that long ago and still only 31 that is some fall from grace Premiership to Hungerford Town in 4 years

The Championship to Division One South & West of the Southern League in one move. There must be a reason behind it.

That is a hell of a big fall from grace for "Harps". Don't know him personally very well but I'm sure this move will be due to his Reading connections.

Living in Reading, I've in the past played at their indoor dome training the facility. A few summers ago when he was still with Reading he used to turn up on a Monday night to have a kick around with whoever would let him play. The guy just can't get enough football. Not surprised he still wants to play even if it's so so far down the leagues. A true pro and seemed like a decent guy. Well... He's more than happy to play with our group of lower league sunday / pub league players.
