I think the transfer activity will be quiet until the season gets under way. Paolo may wait until someone unexpected comes up, you know a to good to be true player or see how they perform up to mid end of September and then rethink his strategy. Though with Paolo you never can tell.

We're signing Nathan Ellington on a season long loan, expect to hear about it during the week.

Well he's an editor of a big selling newspaper's sport bit so yeah you could say that. I'm amazed no one has worked it out yet. Costanza will know.

Marlon Pack has just been on twitter saying he is booking a holiday tomorrow. Now where could he be going so close to pre season? Or am I having a blonde moment!!!
I can't possibly see how you could deduce that he is signing for Swindon Town from that.

Do people honestly think that Marlon Pack could do a job in League One? After the League Two final against Crewe, I don't!
To be fair to him both himself and Yates they did both say that the PO final was probably his worst performance of the season.

But the rumour of Marlon Pack onyl came about due to his friendship with Matt Ritchie and a rumour spread about on the Cheltnumb forum, there has been no statement from Paolo saying he admired Pack at all.

Dead in the water, unlike the Billy Kee and Eunan O'Kane who Paolo praised them both after playing against us.

Excellent for Wigan, but has he done much since 2005?
