Working on this assumption, no lower league player would ever be signed by a higher league club. Most people are capable of making their own minds up as to whether they believe a player is capable of stepping up. On your assumption, all those spouting that Ritchie and Caddis are Championship quality are talking shit. £900k from Evans sounds decent then. |

If Connell played for Barcelona (and started every game) he would get at least 10 goals a season. The service would be so good that he's bound to get a tap in every now and again. Next season if he has some good players playing around him I see no reason why he can't get 10-15 in League 1. A tap in is still the same tap in in League 1 as it was in League 2.
