Apparently we're interested in Accrington's Bryan Hughes. Don't know much about him.

Think it's the fella who played for Brum, possibly in the Prem, not so long ago...fuck knows how he ended up at Accy.

bryan hughes used a to be superb player, alongside koumas and kavanagh for the best midfielders the 'championship' has seen in recent years.

Right sort of place for a 35 year old who was pretty good at championship level during his prime.

They picked him up from one of the nordic leagues a couple of months back.

A lot of lower league teams seem to be havng a look at Ross Allen of Guernsey.

Yes its a low standard of football, but no lower than the level Charlie was playing it before we picked him up.

Scored another 2 goals yesterday taking his half season tally to 47, obviously knows where the goal is and at 24 is still young enough to come to us and learn his trade yet wouldnt cost much at all.

Wouldn't hurt to give him a trial

What's this about bidding for Grabban? I'm guessing it's just someone on the wind up.

I'd like to think its a wind up, his previous goalscoring record isn't exactly outstanding, think he would be a bit of a risky buy.

Exciting. I'll be checking the phone constantly at work tomorrow.

Matt Tubbs would be great.

Although Tubbs hasn't scored at a higher level he would be an excellent signing for us, still has roots locally in Salisbury.

The sort of player that will score goals wherever he goes, also it will stop Creepy Crawleys progress.

Seems from Rotherham fans on twitter that us, Crawley and Wednesday are in for Grabban. As ex Palace, Crawley's location may sway it. Don't know enough about the guy to know if he'd be an improvement on what we have or not.
