I'm not keen on the Advertiser's resurrecting of the Constable rumour.

No that should be kept quiet if we actually are going for him, unless the Adver has taken it upon itself to stir the shit up again, much to our cost as it was last time.

The Adver need to sell papers. The rumour may not have come from the club. Seems fair enough to me even if it ends up being BS.

It's funny you should say that, I was reading yesterday how several Premiership and Championship clubs were going to be bidding £1m for a 25 year old striker, Jamie Vardy, who plays for non-league Fleetwood. He must be very, very, very, very, very, very special and a late developer or the football world is getting increasingly more broken.

That's mental. What a result that would be for Fleetwood. Can't recall many players going for over a million from League 2 even. Jon Stead is the only one that springs to mind.

Looks like the rumour came from the Oxford Mail, who of course own the Adver. I guess Mr Rose didn't want to stir things up too much.

Nelson is a beast, was impressed by him when he came here with Narrwich a couple of seasons ago, I imagine he'd be snapped up by a Championship or League One side though
