It's funny you should say that, I was reading yesterday how several Premiership and Championship clubs were going to be bidding £1m for a 25 year old striker, Jamie Vardy, who plays for non-league Fleetwood. He must be very, very, very, very, very, very special and a late developer or the football world is getting increasingly more broken. |

That's mental. What a result that would be for Fleetwood. Can't recall many players going for over a million from League 2 even. Jon Stead is the only one that springs to mind. |

Looks like the rumour came from the Oxford Mail, who of course own the Adver. I guess Mr Rose didn't want to stir things up too much. |
