Good way to sign off if he does leave though Jan. Smashing in the decider at Easter Road in front of the travelling Jambos!! Smiley

Hibs are an absolute disgrace in truth.  I was always against the Calderwood appointment as I don't rate him as a tactical or man manager. I hope this Irish bloke turns it around but I honestly think Hibs are going down. Shame as Edinburgh should have two thriving teams not one (seemingly) permanantly in the doldrums and the other close to going bust, being run by a mad man.

Edinburgh's such a better place than soap dodger territory just wish it could compete on a football level.

Grabban sounds like a good signing

I asked Gary Rose on twitter, he replied: "His situation def being monitored, but no bid has been made and if there was, certainly would not be anywhere near 350k"

350k for McLeod is fairytail stuff. Grabban would be an excellent signing.

According to a Gillingham fan the bid has apparently been rejected.

Which you would expect to be the case, to be closely followed by a second bid.

Not really if it's £100,000 it's a very fair offer for someone out of contract at the end of the season.

It did say six-figure so it is potentially more than 100,000

Rooney's age means that he would not move on for free at the end of the season...there woulf be compensation.  So Gills not likely to be as worried about his contract position.  Sounds useful, but we shouldn't overpay.

I'd actually rather we'd hung onto Benyon than sign him

Knows where the goal is in league 2. 12 goals this season according to that. More of a bustling, powerful striker I think, something we don't really have.
