And looks like Ahmed Abdulla has joined Dagenham on loan

Bless! Montano's missed his cuddles.

I thought that too but had a chat with Steve Evans as he was at the Northampton game watching us and he's still actively looking to bring players in this window

he stopped eating long enough to tell you that? fat bastard!

I'm pretty staggered and would be even more so if that came off!

Well, that sounds financially sensible.

Don't bet against it, the jambos players are pretty unhappy with Romanov and they are still being payed late, if Crawley can match his wage then it does offer more financial stability for him.

Couple of comments from a some Jambos I know back in Edinburgh -

'No, this was doing the rounds at the weekend. Bit confused about the whole loan thing though as I thought he was out of contract in January. I think he would go there to be honest. Loves being a big fish in a small pond'

'yeah, his last deal for us was seemingly up to January so this is odd.  possibly a 6 month rolling deal?!  Anyway, we'd never 'loan' him out, certainly not to somewhere that couldn't cover all or even the bulk of his salary...  that's the only reason we'll loan any first team squad players out'

Not sure if its been mentioned but according to facebook: Sky Sports Sources: Swindon Town have made a 350K bid for Barnet in form striker Izale Mcleod

Rather a lot of money if true?

That is odd - however, I saw him in the gym must have been the Wednesday before the Bristol Rovers game and I'm certain I over heard him talking about how he was going home at the weekend.

Then he wasnt in the squad for Rovers and we were told he was ill - despite the fact, I again saw him at the gym were he looked anything but ill (which doesnt mean to say he wasnt mind you)

No whether thats me putting 2 and 2 together and getting five thousand seven hundred and thirty two or not....but seemed an odd set of events at the time but then he was picked every game he was available for afterwards.

Sure I heard it was due to an ankle injury, so he should be fine in the gym.
