Missed a penalty at Euro 2004, steer clear.

Would love us to sign billy kee, he looked the most natural finisher in league two before his injuries
He won't come to us, the reason he moved to Burton in the first place was to be closer to his family.

I enjoy the dismissive replies on the Football Rumours website.

Transfer rumour sites are exactly that.
So let's look at some things we do know in no particular order.
Paolo is a quick learner, certainly from his initial transfer mistakes. With Paolo in charge and his/our success last season we should see much better players willing to drop down to play under him than last term. Naturally as we go higher up the leagues our appeal will be greater with the PDC effect. The budget is in place and after last seasons gamble the board were in a way put on the spot WRT their ambitions and financial commitment v Paolo's. You said xyz this time last year Jeremy is that still the case? I seem to remember some comments in the press/radio from the club about getting additional investment. I would imagine that is now in place and possibly what held up the contract extension. Paolo has said he has watched a lot of last seasons league one games, I'll bet he has as well, "He knows who he wants, he knows who he wants, Paolo Di Canio, he knows who he wants!" Three weeks or so in Italy, I wonder if he was having a look at some plays with proven ability with his contacts? Expect swift and likely surprising comings and goings during the closed season, this won't be for the feint hearted.
This all adds up to us getting the right players first time round. Paolo will not want to go to the board at the end of September beginning of October to say again I have made mistakes we need to ship out so and so and get in so and so. The margins for error get smaller and the costs to rectify them more. There is critical mass developing @ SN1 and I remember Paolo saying that agents were ringing him up during last season saying that their "clients" wanted to play for Swindon, do you think that has changed?, If anything I would expect that to be more the case. Now that Paolo & STFC have gained back our credibility Paolo can ring the likes of Arry up and cut deals that would have been out of our league so to speak last season.

Don't think the club would be too impressed if he did. Besides which is clearly a double bluff, lomas is a done deal.

Ah, didn't realise he was a scout. I must be thinking of a different tit. So the Owen and Heskey transfers nust be false then?

This Darren is a good bloke, well he was when I last met him in 1997! Town fan and CyberRobin alumni. I think Agent Darren is this Darren's Cow-Orker. Might have it wrong. edit: And judging by recent tweets - hello Darren(s) Darren @DarrenL68
easyjet atiku lanzano magera comazzi Nothing to do with me. #getyourfactsright
So are there two Darrens, or does @DarrenL68 = Darren S. I'm confused now. Which to be fair is a frequent thing. edit2: Different Darrens. Or Darren S has lost it and is tweeting himself.

I both love and hate this time of year. Everyone knows, doesn't know and just randomly guess who we are going to sign.
So who would everyone like to see us sign this summer?
