Perfection is not attainable

I have a feeling that Paolo has got his fingers burned too much already signing foreign players.

Look at Comazzi, Atiku, Easyjet, Magera, Kerrouche......for that reason I am out.

If anyone is good enough then I don't mind where they've come from.

However, Di Canio's transfer history post-Magera is exclusively UK. That could be down to transfer deadlines etc but I'd be quite surprised if we experienced the sort of transfer activity that was similar to last summer.

To that list you can also add:

Mattia Lanzano (our number 1)
Gabilondo (whatever happened to him)
Tehoue (I know he's only on loan and has played in england, but he's foreign)

"Wooah, he's a Bosnian, a Bosnia and Herzegovinian, he's a Bosnian at Swindon Town"

There, he has a song already.
People already sing that about me.

He looks competent. But I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be a flop in English football. Really wouldn't.

Looks like Jay Mac is a done deal, too. SSN stating Barnsley expect him to leave in the summer

I think he is out of contract, so I wouldn't read too much into it being a done deal just yet.

He looks like a young Shaun Taylor.

Apparently we have put in an official written offer for him.  I am underwhelmed with that potential signing tbh, we needed him this year, not next.  Depends on how much I suppose.

He has been linked in the past and has stated he wants to move back south nearer to his family home in Londinium.

What kind of player is he? Is he the 'nasty' player Paolo has been looking for?
