The People are linking Matt Ritchie to Leicester and Huddersfield.

The thought did cross my.mind when Ritchie was deep in conversation with Schmiechel after the final whistle. Could have been anything if course, but hope it wasn't "see you on Monday".

I think they played together at Notts County a few seasons ago so might just have been catching up...I hope

I hope there is a bit of money left in the pot for a forward

If we don't get Kerrouche out on loan and we don't get another forward then we really should use him, lazy or not his goal to game ratio can't be sniffed at

But would his goal to game ratio be the same when he is being a lazy fucktard?

No one knows the answer to that. Berbatov is lazy as fuck but he still has the ability to win a game, while obviously being miles apart in class it's just an example

Good shout - I hadn't made the link.

You miss the point.

Kerrouche doesn't strike me as a skillful player. Instead his strength seems to be running around Tescos while doing his shopping and generally making a nuisance of himself on the pitch. I recall Kerrouche being likened to Chalky White, far from graceful yet very effective nonetheless.

Somebody like Berbatov can be lazy, yet have the skill to get away with it. Berbatov's strong point is his skill and technique, whereas the roof's strong point was his boundless energy and non-stop effort. Take away their respective strengths, and what are you left with?

Not alot....but....then did Kerrouche ever come across as lazy whilst on that pitch?

I have no idea what he's like in training for when he was rehabbing from an injury he was prone to the odd shortcut in the gym! He might be a lazy trainer.

Apart from maybe the one game where he got taken off early I cant recall anyone every coming on here after a game and questioning his workrate?

I thought he always worked extremely hard. The game when he got taken off early (Colchester in the Cup) was pretty bizarre as it was only about 20 minutes in and the game hadn't really taken any kind of shape at that point. No one had the slightest idea why he came off and most people just assumed he had picked up a knock. There was nothing that he did or didn't do to warrant getting hooked off. Well not to us mere mortals any way.

fair point...

His starts...

Rotherham at home: full game
Southend at home: 72 minutes (1 goal)
Crawley away: full game (2 goals)
Burton away: full game
Barnet at home: full game (1 goal)
Macclesfield away: 60 minutes
Hereford at home: 69 miniutes (1 goal)
Bradford at home: 79 minutes
AFC Wimbledon at home: 62 minutes
--------------
Colchester away: 26 minutes
Rovers away: 51 minutes

He was also subbed off against the scum after 67 minutes after coming on at half time but if memory serves me correct that was an injury?

I'd also suggest in my opinion anyway being unfit and being lazy are two different things.

I though he put in a good shift every time he has played and also looked as fit as anyone out there. When he was dropped from the team he was our top goal scorer and still think he would continue to score goals if put back in. I read he was training away from the rest of the squad so a big bridge to build if this is correct.
