Sad, unfortunately a big mistake getting getting him back.

The reality is Josh Davison had a better or the same strike rate as Charlie.
Lovely to see him get his goal target. I just didn’t like the attention he drew from fans when he was in and out of the team.
Again, time to create some new heroes. Charlie will always be a swindon legend.

Started every game, only got subbed five times and those were all in his first seven games, then 16 90 minute games in a row (I know this because I wrote his profile for Rich Banyard's site, my memory is not that good out of the box!). Now that was running a player into the ground! |

It's not impossible, sure, but our system relief on him running himself into the ground. He did his job well, but it wasn't a surprise that he wasn't 100% sharp for the last few games of that run!

If that is true then something must have changed big time in the opposite direction to what it swang early last season. I'm sceptical though. We were announcing undisclosed fees in abundance before when it turned out we couldn't actually pay transfer fees at the time. |

Ordinarily yes but the amount of donkey work he did for the side went largely un noticed by many. I'm not sure any other side in the entire football league operated with only 1 natural centre forward. |

Butterfield (his former assistant) signed a 3 year deal very recently with Eastleigh, so its likely to be somebody else?
