With the money supposedly not spent in the last window should allow us to pay up any loan player’s wages in full - it’s only 3-4 months.
That’s if you believe.
I don't think we're allowed to contribute any money towards fees or wages as part of the embargo

Wages fine, fees not. That was my understanding.

Has to be the player’s entire wages - not subsidised by the parent club.

Yeah, restriction is
"transfer fee, compensation fee, loan fee, or loan other form of payment apart from a sell-on fee for players for two transfer windows, starting with this window, with the second window being suspended."

So no reason we cant pay x% of a loan players wages as it is not a fee but wages

Not sure, I think there is a typo and should be "and other form of payment". So I think probably not Found the actual wording in here, and it reads to me wage contributions would be disallowed. Can't copy easily as I'm at work and PDF has restrictions on it: https://s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/gc-media-assets.gc.eflservices.co.uk/30554960-bf62-11ee-b978-69178c8c4d36.pdf

No mention of wages in there. I think if we said we'd pay £15k to loan a player for the rest of the season, that would not be allowed as it's a loan fee in respect of registartion of a player. But if we paid the payer £15k in wages that would be fine, as it's not a fee and doesn't go to the parent club. That's how I understand it anyway.

That depends if we pay the wage % to the parent club and they then pay the player. "Any other payment" is a bit ambiguous without further guidance.
Obviously hope your interpretation is the correct one.

If we paid the player directly, that would create a new contractual relationship for the employee. Can't see that being allowed/wanted by either party.

From the Adver presser blog: ( https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/24090597.press-conference-live-newport-county-v-swindon-town/) Gavin Gunning on embargo: We have been working together to get players in. I don't think the embargo really matters at this level because nobody really pays for players. Can't blame him, but he is an absolute shill. Teams that have paid fees for players include literally us literally this summer (loan fees for Kemp & Young) and the previous two windows (Cain Jan, Khan, Hutton, Clayton, Roberts the previous summer).
