I thought it was 3 windows with just the 3rd one suspended - last summer, this one, summer one suspended.

By agreeing to pay 100% of their wages with no actual fee would be my guess.
Amazingly i think it is the other way around. Only managed to get them as their clubs carried on paying their wages. I remember that lad from lower league look joking about Young being lucky to be paid as he wasn't being paid by us

No. Original punishment was 3, which was reduced to 2 on appeal. With the second of the two suspended. So its just this current window that's affected.

Could explain why we didn’t fill our loan slots.

The penalty doesn't because it only impacted this window.

Back in the summer, what this helps explain, along with the public knowledge of Clem adding funds (forced by people reporting about late payments, which were denied), is that we were clearly struggling to keep cash flowing properly.  Despite the EFL and the Judge taking our letters as evidence at face value, the fact we missed two HMRC payments and had rumours of late wages to staff, and Clem has tried to switch the need to inject cash as him being a saviour again, it shows we probably couldn't actually afford to pay anyone.

They failed to pay a company I work with last summer and they ignored all their requests to do so.

I assume our 2 perms have big sell on fees attached then. The loans must just be mutually beneficial deals. I think we’ve done well considering but what a f*** up!

I presume no fees - we sent messages around to the entire football word begging for anyone they were going to let go at end of contract in June 2024.  These were players who clubs were happy to dispose of early.

Why again did we let Kinsella go if we are not able sign anyone unless they are absolutely free

A few players have recently have had their contracts mutually ended which allows barrel scrapers like us to have a sniff at signing them.

Apparently it was, so we were just penny pinching already at that point.

Well at least the barrel scraping signings look fairly decent so that's lucky I guess
