I wish people would stop talking about fucking Wakeling. Who the fuck wants him back? We have two smallish forwards now in RHM and Glatzel. We need a physical forward not wakeling.

Because we could get him in for next to nothing & he’s arguably better than any of our current options.
He isn’t playing and the only other team he can play for is us.

It’s cheap, it’s easy, it’s an upgrade.

Sure, we need a physical striker but good luck finding one of those where we could get him in on loan and pay none of his wages.

I would have him back to stengthen the squad but hes not a starter for me, spend that wage/budget on someone like Harry Smith, something different up front to what we have.

But that’s the point.
Wakeling wouldn’t take up any budget.

Do you think Peterborough will loan him out and pay all his wages then?

I hate myself that i took a pause and asked myself if he was that bad.

No still.

Sorry it was a piss take and the first random 'physical' striker that came into my head. But in all seriousness we could do with a more physical option to give Austin a break.

Potentially yes, if he isn't playing for them and can only play for us they may be happy with the fact that their asset is playing regularly

Depends.
IF they don’t sell of their strikers in this window - then they have a young player on their hands who isn’t getting any game time, who would probably benefit from a loan.
He can only go on loan to one team, us.

So IF Peterborough want to get him game time and their options are basically send him to us & pay his full wages or don’t send him.

No guarantee they’d prefer him to be playing here rather than sitting on their bench (or in the stands) but I don’t see the harm in asking the question.

I’d they so no, we lose nothing. If they say yes, we get a striker for nothing who can score goals at this level.

I think we’d be stupid to not at least ask.

We've got 4 ex Liverpool players - Cain, Brewitt, Clayton, Glatzel.

Chris Kiely lives in Liverpool.

I'm assuming those two things are connected

Wakeling seems inevitable, he didn’t even make their squad today.

Thus fella could do what we want - but seems a bit of a nob, though.

Mo Faal, terminated his own loan spell with Donny to return to parent club, WBA. Scored 9 goals and holds the ball up well. Now looking for another L2 loan.

Rumoured that Stockport have come in for Hutton. £200k…I’d snap their hands off for that.

Yowzer!

Bradford want £200k for young, there’s your money to go get him.

“ Bradford have reportedly set the transfer fee at around £200,000 for Jake Young’s signature, with the player still having 18 months left on his contract plus an option for a year extension at Valley Parade.”
