It's an academy player I think.

Didn’t we nearly sign Stanislas under PDC or am I thinking of someone else?

…and that looks absolutely nothing like Junior Stanislas at all…

Might be him, might not be him, it doesnt really matter either way. Its still a Swindon rumour and its fun to guess who it is or who it might be. After all I give you the  Andy Carroll rumour of only a couple of weeks ago and Theo Walcott......

Then again almost all the fun on this forum has died a death recently anyway.

But we can't say what we've seen
And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

Well it’s definitely not Andy Carroll I’m confident of that.

You’d think the internet would have some sort of Orwellian face search ability to work out who it is…

Ben Heneghan, who was mooted as a potential CB signing, has joined Fleetwood Town.

From a Bradford fan. Probably means nothing.

‘ I caught up with Youngs family member on some work drinks last week but nothing groundbreaking was said. Jakes loving Swindon, he was actually upset he didn't score a few more he thought he should have put away. Sounded like all parties want a perm deal in Jan. ’

Bradford (and Franchise RE: Kemp) have always been willing to sell but valuations need to be met.

Here's hoping they'll get the job done in January*

*Unless Young's form absolutely tanks between now and then...

Even if it does it probably means Austin is scoring every week then.

Closest we've had to Parkin and Mooney since really considering Yates was really more of a wide striker.

See Flynn has stated we might wait till January for signings. Hmm.

Think that's a sensible thing to say publicly as negotiations with agents are hardly going to helped by him saying "we're fucking desperate now lads, we'll take anyone with a pulse", but I do hope it's not actually *true*

I think if 2023 has taught us anything, it is that no manager should ever say "we are close" on a player, or words to that effect. "I want two in by Friday" and so on. I want a photo of a scarf above a head or nothing. All we have shown is our inability, either financial or administrative, to get deals over the line.
