…but…at least that would be something actually worth getting agitated about…
Something factual, something there in black & white. Something actually proven to be correct.

Yeah was only jesting, totally with you to be fair. Reading so much negativity on socials etc can really take it out of you, can't wait for the season to start. For what it's worth I still think we'll pull a couple of very good signings out the hat and we'll be alright.

You think it's toxic now? You wait till we lose the first 3 games of the season  Cheesy

THIS!

Im keeping my powder very dry.

Im not enthused by the lack of incoming but results is all that matters......lose the first few and there will be hell up, win a couple and Flynns stock will be boosted.

For me, for now....in Flynn we trust.....

I can take the negativity (…and dish it out) it’s the negativity based on Chinese whispers at best & complete fabrications at worst - I get fed up with.

Think this too, we don’t have a natural left win back. We are 2/3 CB’s short, no big CDM’s short of a hairy ass number 9
I would agree, 2 powerful CB's, a proper LWB and a strong tackling DMC, are a must, a big target man would be a nice addition too just to change things and be a threat in the air at corners.

Yes, but it’s probably going to be a new sponsor Wink

I was up for going to Sats friendly, but the lack of new players to watch somewhat dampens my enthusiasm for preseason a little.

I agree totally, although watching the City friendly which gave me some more confidence actually watching us play the Flynn style, which we did very well for the first hour and matched them all over the pitch, other than our obvious holes in defence we did very well.

Wonder what the ratio of actual transfer rumour posts vs non transfer rumour posts is for this thread this summer Vs other summers.

There have been very few proper rumours this summer as i see it. Nothing from random Journo's with connections etc. It was 90% fans looking at out of contract players from Flynns former clubs that fit gaps we have.

Mahoney was the only rumoured one before it happened from good old Nixon. And Stfcboo can claim Kemp.

Its far less fun this way sadly.

Yes, our transfer activity seems much less leaky this summer. Probably simply because there are fewer people involved.

Stating the obvious but there’s a lot less transfer activity to leak full stop.
