There was an obituary bit in the Adver from 1st Feb 2013 which I have assumed was the guy involved with us and putting 2+2 together because didn't he resign from being a director due to ill health?

Clearly it could be a totally different guy and he could be alive and well but I can't find a lot on the internet about him.

Perhaps its a question that could be put to the Advisory Board and Sandro?  Wink

Not sure that it's hugely relevant, unless there is a historical debt owed to him? Smiley

I don't think it's the same guy. I'm sure Bill Power was a telecoms entrepreneur who actually knew nothing about football but was talked into investing by the Fitton crowd, then ducked out when he saw he wasn't going to make anything out of it.

Could have sworn he was ex QPR Chairman. Mark Devlin was a QPR fan and its mentioned in the plane crash articles.

he was.

power was long gone when Fitton arrived. He was the solution to Diamandis debenture problem.

Until he realised what Diamandis was like and wanted his money back

Ah sorry, I think I've confused him with Martin Arbib. The years are a blur at this stage.

Both Mark Devlin and Mike Sullivan were guests at the CG for the home leg of the playoffs.

They also came to the Hartlepool home game.
Still good friends with both of them.

It does look like it. Glad to see he looks alive and well (if it is indeed him)

Didn’t they have a plane crash on the way back?
