Hopefully nothing serious. Take it easy bud.

Is that the noise of a barrel being scraped?

The later you leave perms the more cack there is

Jack Payne hasn’t signed for anyone yet, does that make him cack?

If you are a lower league footballer and you are given a list of the 24 clubs in the division, you can't say that Swindon Town are surely not in the top 3 of clubs that the vast majority would pick? (obviously ignoring location and wages etc - fully aware these are important factors for players of course)

Exciting might not be the right word but you catch my drift. Just because you are an impatient man Aud doesn't mean we can't sign good players late on, look at last season for instance.
Not transfer related  but....

Not sure who the big guns in L2 will be this year.

I noted in passing that Stockport County was, last night, just 20 or so short of 5,000 season ticket sales.  Fair play to them.

Can see them doing a Lincoln for a few years.

Lower league support seems to be thriving quite a bit at the moment. People finally giving up with Sky / BT and the premiership milking everybody and supporting their local instead?

Not lower league but I noticed my Scottish team Hearts had broken a club record and have sold 15,000 season tickets. Bradford I think have also broken their record and I have noted that fans of quite a few other clubs have mentioned that their numbers are up.

To me It's unusual behaviour bearing in mind inflation is so high and the cost of living is gripping harder. As you say, maybe people are choosing to cut costs by ditching their Sky/BT subscriptions - which can be higher than £100 per month if you take all the channels I believe.

People need the distraction in desperate times. Look at the post-war bounce amid the mourning, bomb-sites and rationing.

Striker. 39 games for Walsall last season. 2 goals.

Sounds just what we need.
