I'd make him captain... Much more of a leader than Conroy... Sorry Duke Still think we need a better leader all round. Hoping the 40% increased budget extends to find that missing player Thought Baudry and Conroy were immense at the end of the season. Just remaining very concerned that we will fill the remaining squad with inexperienced players. I still remain very sceptical. |

Its not much different from how Fitton wanted to part fund the club, hell every club in the lower echelons. Its all about the mix of young (stats based) punts and older (stats based) heads. Not just young ones. Until we see who is left standing after the contracts offered to existing players are accepted/declined its hard to work out what we need of each. |

a few red flags in the recent interviews when asked about asperations for the season the answers coming back are around an attacking brand of football and to be competitive. want somebody to come out and say the aim is promotion. huge transfer window this for the new ownership, we need some experienced players if we're seriously looking to get promoted. |

"@The Million Pound Man" - Setting expectations low so we can be pleasantly surprised. But that horse has bolted - the majority of fans think we should be putting a team together for promotion. Me included.
Though the sensible nagging bit of me realises we have £5M total debt hanging over us (not sure when 4M of that is payable mind).
