Anyone know what Ben Chorley's role is at the club in between transfer windows.

Nothing - I believe he flew out to the Maldives on September 1st for a holiday and isn’t due back until December 31st.

Norwood at 31 would be a statement signing and would add some much needed experience, but I am not convinced that he is the type of player that Garner would want to work with.

That said, we can't go through the rest of the season with just Tyrese Simpson as number 9, as much as Garner talks up Gilbert and JML as 'attacking players' they just aren't and McKirdy has proved his finishing is pretty sketchy at best. If Simpson was to get crocked I would be a little concerned, although we do have talented players so might have to go down the route of playing a load of 'false nines!'

Every DoF role is different but I assume he is the line manager of the Head Coach, the Academy Manager, the Medical lead/physio and the scouting team.

Given his focus seems to be heavily on recruitment, I imagine he is watching a lot of games/Wyscout.

Cheers for the insight as it's hard to know unless it gets mentioned.

Yes we could do with ANOTHER midfielder Cheesy

He signed a new contract at Banbury literally 2 days ago, that could be so they get a form of a fee for him if he does leave.

Bit low in that department for sure! Maybe he’s an ‘attacker’.
