A name to throw into the ring: APOEL have agreed to terminate Joe Garner's contract. Would fit the bill for what we need.

Archer is wanted by championship clubs and Cheltenham are in pole position for Joseph. Seems both are unlikely.

I don't know why a player would be unlikely just because Cheltenham are after them.
But I want neither of them anyway. I want to see experience.

He could join his team mate here

I wouldn't mind Archer but agree with you experience would be preferred

IF we are to get a striker in Garner says he doesn’t want an academy type that would block Parsons’ progress - which is sensible.
Not sure what’s available in the free, experienced player market that’s much good.

Joe Garner, he's old but knows where the goal is. Probably more likely to go up north but we could do worse.

Joe Garner would be a fantastic signing at this level who has never played lower than L1 in his long 146 goal career, scored goals pretty much everywhere hes been but he has never settled in the South and would still command fairly high wages, unlikely IMO.
As for Cameron Archer, the lad is a massive talent who reminds me of a young Nicky Ajose in style, he is a mate of KKH but I am sure he would like a move higher up the leagues than we are at currently.

As for Kyle Joseph, he has all the attributes of the sort of player we need, hes 6 foot 1, fast, good in the air and on the ground and has been told he can leave on a loan just a few months after signing for £600k from Wigan.
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/swansea-city-transfer-headlines-kyle-21406302He might prefer to play at a much bigger club with double the crowds over a team in L1 who barely muster 3,500 home fans for a game. Weirder things have happened.

Still a higher level though isn't it.
I'd say Garner would fancy being able to get a decent size club in League One as well.

Joseph looks as though he could be a good player.
But we need experience.

Omar Bogle is still waiting to leave Donny. Ellis Harrison isn’t wanted at Pompey.
Not exactly top of my wish lists.
