I heard a rumour that DiV once said Wellens was not all that great and no one believed him. I’m just glad he’s ok today.

It's been a slow news day but at least Town (and the Trust) signed someone (or something)

Oldham relegated Swindon relegated Salford sacked Doncaster 1 point from 12 currently.
As if you’re giving him that JPT win....
The relegations you state only partially in his position. Speaking with facts, the level of detail and planning he installed into that promotion season was second to none. The tactics and game planning recognised by the players. Binned the drinking culture at the club and the rest was history. Gaining promotion with a relatively modest budget should no be overlooked. Some of the results when the squad was on its arse (Crewe at home one example). Then taking away for a period your two main goal threats and the wheels never came off. Lucky? - He did a cracking job.

Wellens has moved on. I wonder whether the TEF should do likewise.

We were doing shite before Wellens left.
Budget was lower in a higher league. Wellens was well pissed off before this. Only a matter of time, backed Power in the media but he was “gone” and who could blame him.

I rest my case my lud. On more important matters and up to date matters the fitness culture at the club, statistical analysis and dietary planning is at another level now. Can only help us attracting players, particularly clubs loaning out young and up and coming promising players. Just need this final embargo to be settled.

I still think we are a way off paying that which is understandable considering the other buts we have had to pay off

We’ll have to wait and see how he does at Doncaster...
