That’s about 20 what you would describe as first team players now and a couple of development players with 13 or so signed this summer. Can only be a striker outstanding now although I am starting to suspect that we will see a Guardiola style no recognised striker line up at some point.

What about Kieran Agard as the potential forward? Seemed to play a lot of his career around MK, Shitty and Yeovil.  Must be holding for good deal somewhere I presume? Just a guess, but he shares the same agent as Payne.  |

Think it's fine. Mitchell-Lawson sounds more of a winger with pace which we don't really have. Strikers will come. Still have 2 loan spots.

Just think it could have been Taylor Curran on the bench. Times have very much changed. Can’t be an issue to have more options but we really do need that striker now.

A few of the kids will probably be shipped out on loan to Conference sides.
Remember it look Alan Mac a few years being shipped out on loan before he got anywhere near the Town first team.
12 days until the window shuts (unless the player is out of contract, and can be signed anytime)

Having just sat and written out the squad (sad I know)
It’s almost as if every man has a back up. It’s almost like they have a plan would you believe.
Odimayo does cover two positions and as we have 1 striker we need another.
If you take Dabre and Aguiar and the rest of the younger squad members being in the same bracket, it all starts to make a lot more sense on paper….literally. I mean, that’s what I’ve just done.
I will add one worry in that Bristol Rovers fans complained that Garner didn’t sign strikers but this time around Chorley is above him.
