Caught Darren MacAnthony (Peterborough Chairman) talking on Sky last night and his take on the agents touting players. All very logical in that high wages required in June diminishes through July and when you get to August the agents are running around like headless chickens trying to place their players. Under the recent hiatus I would think that there are going to be more players without a club than normal so hopefully we might be able to pick up the odd diamond or two.

Looked the pick of the trialists vs Supermarine. 1-year deal seems sensible given his attitude problems.

Mckirdy has signed

Just seen that on the official site and yet it states it was updated 3 hours ago.
Who cares that is another good signing along with Grant. I don't think we should even contemplate looking like a struggling side this season. Just the poacher to claim the knock downs from Simpson and we're good to go.

That is exactly what I said the other day, more players released and not a usual transfer window because of, well a little bug that has been causing some coughs and sneezes, if you believe the anti vaxers and naysaying trolls.

We look on paper to have a good squad. Contrast what we could have had if the takeover hadn’t gone through with what we have, and it becomes a phenomenal one

What’s the Volenti Academy? Has this one played any men’s football or is he one for the future? Which would seem a bit low priority right now.
