Never realised we had an option to extend Odimayo’s contract
‘Swindon Town are delighted to announce the signing of central defender, Akin Odimayo on a one-year-deal with an option to extend. The deal is subject to EFL and FA approval.’

Well the end of season announcement suggested he'd been offered terms, so perhaps the option to extend was either on his side (seems unlikely) or based on conditions that haven't been met (not being relegated?).

true, but don't forget our large and distinguished scouting department have almost certainly done their job and realised he's the one for us. I assume seemingly our 1 staff member in Mildy must have had a hand in this. |
