It was a case of Tindall losing his job & Woodgate not wanting to take the risk. Town knew this on Tuesday & the recall was announced Thursday as we had got the City lad in.

Travers on the bench for Bournemouth as intimated, so Bergovics injury can be managed without the need for rest then?
Painfully obvious to me that the toxic Sheridan and new manager Woodgate gave Travers the impetus to return.

I doubt Travers will be displacing Begovic anytime soon unless he gets crocked. His brief spell with us was the first time he has had a run of starts in the Football League so I doubt he was desperate to return just to sit on the bench.
He looked very solid and just what we needed after Kovar!

No, he was just desperate to get away from this absolute shitshow. Not Town itself but likely accelerated by an incredibly out of touch "manager".
Thompson will be gone soon.

You only need one loosely educated guess.

he can't be recalled result though I don't think
Cant be recalled so you would expect any loanee whether they be unhappy or not to stick around as they cant play anywhere else, so unless there is a major fall out whereby the manager sends him back and the loaning club agrees then stfc will still be paying any wages if the player went back. I would expect players to be professional, yes, they may not like the manager or his tactics and they may have told him that, but they are getting paid by stfc to do a job on that pitch and you would hope they would go out there try and do that job to the best they can within the managers tactics. Other than this they pick up a reputation of being a trouble maker, and word spreads in the game with maybe some of the better clubs not wanting a bar of them in the future.

I'm not entirely convinced, the players may not like the dinosaur sheridan but they are getting first team football and either putting themselves in the window for a move end of season, showing their club why they deserve to play or just getting match fitness, I do not believe any player will go back to their club knowing they cant play but have to go into training and go home and sit in the stands in a matchday without a game to look forward to even if it is awful tactics.

It has got so toxic with Sheriden that going back is preferred that's how bad its become..

so you are still currently confident he won't be around to contribute on Saturday then.
Again, not doubting your info, just surprised how quickly things appear to have deteriorated.
