The video of him from behind he certainly doesn't look very unfit.

Wellens said Smith was a replacement for Admiral Muskwe
I will be disappointed is Tyler gets similar game time as Muskwe got, I think hes got way more potential than the old sea dog.

Perhaps it's not a case of straightforward, 'like for like' replacements. We'll obviously play pretty much the same style of football this season but it perhaps won't necessarily be an exact replica of last season.

And the Admiral was on the bench, but I can't see Smith being a bench player.

What a wonderful conundrum. Remember the days when we were trying to pick the least shit players?

I can remember early 2000's during the King era he subsistuted a player and the fans cheered him of the pitch because he was shite

If that's the case then expect Hope to be sacrificed.
That's a bit harsh, just drop him to the bench.

Barnsley away, last league game of 92/93. I mean, I don't know if you are there, but he started that game.

I don't know.

What if the sacrifice gives the rest of the squad +10 stamina?

Nope, nor Newcastle away in the Prem but I was definitely at Marlow home in the cup in '95. Let's hope Pitman is a bit more successful.

Northampton fan on their forum.

I see Swindon Grin have signed brett pitman
A very good signing for them as he guarantees 15/20 goals a season at this level.
I’m surprised we weren’t in for him but I guess it shows we have someone even better lined up.
I must say I’m amazed Swindon have bought in such a player without a cup run last year and a million pound sale of a player...
Surely we should all be backing them for relegation as points deduction and bankruptcy must surely be on the way.....

Needless to say I'm chuffed at this signing. I expect us to be scoring all sorts of goals this season.

Swindon Town are going up again. Yay
