good luck to the lad.

Hopefully it means incoming. though I'm not sure I'm excited by the strike we had in trial ,  if it's him. . though I'm sure Wellens may well know best

Was that Ken Charles? He’s not getting a deal mate.

"He has started to look a very good player"
On the basis of a couple of pre-season matches? Oh my

I'm no Twine fanboy, but I don't see what's wrong with that comment.

He has looked decent at times in preseason and has been finding the net. What's wrong with acknowledging that?

Anyway, whether or not he pushes on remains to be seen, but at least he's playing at a decent level this time.

Adver journo also saying Isgrove is gone. Deal passed us by, what ever that means.

Trying to get the goalkeeper Joe Fryer to sign as number 2 (played against Brentford)

Hopeful of one more attacking player before the weekend.

I agree the lad can definitely finish and has looked good but whether he was ready for league one is up for debate

Twine to Newport - season loan

BBC Wilts
Good move for him if he can get game time, footballing wise he hasn't overly impressed me but he does know where the goal is and does have a shot on him. As long as the ball doesn't get hoofed over his head at Newport as is their recent style.

Was speaking to a fellow TEFer the other day and he mentioned that he reminded him a lot of Dossevi, flatters to decieve, looks great when he has time on the ball but awful when under pressure. Is a bit too lightweight, you have to be better close control and speed of thought when you have a slight build.

Style and physique wise he reminds me a lot of Kyle Bennett. He can hit a ball with power, has a decent level of ball control and dribbling but gets bundled off the ball too easily at times.

There is a player in there but much like Billy Bodin it may take a move to bring the best out of him.

If nothing else a move to Newport is going to make his less lightweight or break him.

Pedantic, I know, but I wish Wellens would say ‘striker’ instead of ‘attacking player’.

He dosen't want to give too much away! It's a game of chess for the managers mixed with a poker face and Russian roulette for the players
