Wellens’ knowledge of United’s youngsters tells him members of Tuesday’s squad are ready for loan spells in the Football League – substitutes Dion McGhee, Brandon Williams and Ethan Galbraith in particular caught his eye.
You look at Manchester United’s players, some of them should be out on loan. They are ready to play. If you play 23s football too long, you’re only holding their development back.

If he does join Sutton that will be 2 ex Town wingers in the same team after Randall signed for them last week.
Conference level is as good as JMcG is likely to get, I doubt Sutton will pay all of his wages but it should be a chunk out of our own playing budget freed.

Possibly, would be good for the fans that attend, Wellens did say he hoped for a couple of signings before Saturdays game vs Coventry too. Plymouth are making some solid L2 signings, almost all proven at this level and he is getting in players he knows already. |
