And how many of them are playing regularly?
not many at the moment and 1 is out of the door in the summer, but you can't do a lot when you are picking up niggling injuries like thommo and Obika, hopefully Thompson gets fully fit for next season and Murray / Thomas prove their worth but all of our team have been poor this season.

it's a fair comment, but they aren't performing or are injured.
this cb/midfielder could be brilliant, I hope I don't sound like I'm writing him off. I'm far from
and I am not saying he is our messiah but it could be a shrewd move as it stops us playing Thompson at CB (where he is useless) and we have a midfield cover if we need it.

i get that but we do have experience, Obika, Thomas, Murray, Thompson have all played hundreds of games......
Experienced players aren't always great either. Recently we've had Darren Ward and Adam El-Abd, both were fucking awful.

For the record Sean Murray 65 games. Conor Thomas 100 games. NSSJO 127 games. Nathan 143 games. NSSJO has experience of the last STFC relegation season in 10/11....

this cb/midfielder could be brilliant, I hope I don't sound like I'm writing him off. I'm far from bought in to this model and I am thus far failing to see the worth of Sherwood.
and while it is early days I wonder what the point of our youth system is given we are happier to develop loan players. it is of course subjective as to whether those loans we've brought in are any better than out own players.
It is fairly likely that our own youth system is shit. Most are these days, since they mucked about with the funding and levels. Half the clubs in the league have pretty much decided not to bother investing now and just do exactly this, mop up the leftovers once the elite academies have finished with them.
