Branco, Gladwin, Austin were all playing non-league before we got them but only Austin fired straight away. gladwin was/is inconsistent, branco same. my worry is we don't have half a season waiting for them to find their feet. if they do, great... it's one hell of a gamble as things stand |

Bit harsh on Gladwin. He's inconsistent, but still way above bottom six L1 even when he's dipped. Branco, at his peak, is an ok CB at this level. Basically Branco's peak is the same level as Gladwin's trough... |

I don't agree pp, he's a league 1 player with silky skills and flaws. can't see him playing above l1, OK maybe not in a bottom 6 team...
even so, the point was they all took time to get there..

ok then, how about Aiden Flint Flint wasn't ready to go into the first XI on arrival he went back to Alfreton for a while and then was gradually brought through. I guess Power would have just lobbed him in sink or swim. |
