le Fondre is just one of those names which gets repeated over and again, and is associated with lots of clubs, and with Rotherham in and around the play-off places its very unlikely they are looking to let him go after half a season and more than a few goals.

According to the Adver lifting material from the Crawley news or whatever we are after striker Charlie Ademeno. I would post a link but lack the technology on this phone. Go on, visit the Adver's front page manually.OuR bid was rejected but McDonalds and Walsall have tried in the past.

On the Crawley website, he says he's played on the right wing.

Hmmmm.

We'd have two charlies, one for week days and one for Sunday best.

Our front two could be a pair of Charlies.

stfc_dave, according to the never reliable wikkipedia his clubs have been:

    Southend United
→ Bishop's Stortford (loan)
→ Cambridge United (loan)
→ Welling United (loan)
→ Rushden & Diamonds (loan)
→ Salisbury City (loan)
→ Salisbury City (loan)
Crawley Town    04 (0)

I saw Charles Adameno play a couple times when he was on loan at Salisbury.  He's a pretty quick winger but i personally would say he isn't any better than Mark Marshall.

I've only seen him play twice though

£100,000 for 11 games at Crawley? I wouldn't bid much higher, I imagine he's not on a lengthy deal either. I'm all about keeping Non-League clubs afloat but they shouldn't take the piss - oh wait Steve Evans is their manager... Smiley

Kudos to Wilson and Fitton for directing the scouts more towards Non-League instead of the continent. There are a lot of decent players down there.

does sound a lot when you think parking cost £50,000, but my crawley mate says this:

Scored a hat-trick at Grays just before Christmas in the space of 4mins 13seconds - goal times were 2, 5 and 6.

And we still only won 3-2!

Haven't seen hardly any games this year but he's v well regarded. Was released by Southend a year ago. We've only had him since the summer.

Tricky, fast, skilful.
